Upstreet

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

About UpStreet

UpStreet is our weekly environment created especially for your 1st through 5th grade-aged children. We can’t wait to meet them!
UpStreet meets each Sunday at:
  • 9:00 a.m.
  • 10:30 a.m.

Our goal is to instill three core principles based on the life of Jesus, who at the age of 12 “…grew in wisdom, stature and in favor with God and men.” (Luke 2:52.) By focusing on a different biblical virtue or character trait each month, we aim to help your child grow in wisdom, faith and friendship with God and others.

We believe the Bible should never be boring, worship is fun and good leaders always care. Before kids head off to middle school, we want to make sure these three things stick:
  1. I need to make the wise choice.
  2. I can trust God no matter what.
  3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

The focus in UpStreet is our small group environment. We’ll connect kids to a small group leader and a group of their peers. We want kids to see how God’s word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and to build friendships that will last.

We believe parents are the primary spiritual leaders in their children’s lives, and we know this is no easy task! That’s why we want our small group leaders to partner with parents to help kids build a foundation of faith and grow in their relationship with Jesus.

First Time Guest

The UpStreet registration area is on the left side of the building as you enter. Our Host Team is ready to help you get to the right place. They will ask you to complete a brief registration form and escort families to your child’s small group room. If you prefer, you can download our registration form and fill it out before you arrive.

Special Needs

We have a special ministry available at Keystone called One-2-One to help children with special needs. Read our Special Needs page for more information.

Large Group

Shortly after arriving, kids are moved to the large group environment where they have their own time of worship and hear the Bible story told in an engaging, kid-friendly way.

Drop - Off

Children are met by their small group leader in their classroom. The kids participate with their small group in an activity meant to introduce the bottom line message we want kids to walk away with and remember that day.

Small Group

After large group, kids move back into their small group area where their leaders help them understand how the day’s bottom line message can fit into their everyday lives.
Our curriculum builds on the idea that spiritual growth is relationally driven. When you put another trusted adult in the life of a child, in partnership with their parents, you provide an additional clear voice reinforcing core values. So, our strategy emphasizes small groups, making it easy to connect kids to mentors and leaders who can personally invest in them, while building lasting friendships with peers.
