Immersion

We encourage new believers, and believers that have not yet participated in adult baptism, to take the opportunity to be baptized by immersion. We feel that baptism by immersion paints the truest picture of “dying to sin and rising to Christ and new life.” We do recognize, however, that some individuals may request baptism by sprinkling because of a strong personal preference, particularly those based on a compelling physical reason or disability. In these cases, we ask that a brief explanation is provided.

Baptism demonstrates that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and are willing to publicly identify yourself as a follower of Jesus Christ. As part of the registration process, we ask that you write a few paragraphs describing how and when you decided to trust Christ alone for your salvation. It’s helpful for you to recognize the work of the Holy Spirit drawing you to God and the difference Christ has made in your life. Please answer the following questions to help create your testimony.
