What if My Child Asks to be Baptized?

We do not have a minimum age requirement for baptism but ask that parents use discernment in allowing their child to be baptized. If a child confesses Jesus Christ as Lord and understands what it means to be a follower of Christ, they may be baptized. If you would like to discuss your child’s readiness for baptism, please contact Ashley, our Children's Ministry Director at ashley@keystonechurch.us.

Are Infants Baptized?

Some denominations choose to baptize infants. While we recognize the right of other churches to practice infant baptism, we understand Scripture to teach that only professing believers qualify for baptism. Baptism does not make you a believer; rather, it shows that you already believe. However, at Keystone we endeavor to follow the example of Jesus by welcoming little children into God’s kingdom with a Baby Dedication ceremony.
