Keystone’s baptism process has been designed to be both simple and meaningful. From the registration form to the baptism meeting, each step has been carefully planned with you in mind:

  • Step 1 – If you think baptism is the next step for you, please take 35 minutes and listen to Pastor Ken’s talk on baptism where he answers the questions we are most often asked about baptism.
  • Step 2 – Complete the Online Baptism Registration Form (below) or download, print the Baptism Registration Form File and drop it off at Guest Services on Sunday or at the church office during the week. We will then contact you to schedule a meeting with one of our Pastors to talk through the biblical basis for baptism, review your registration form and answer any questions you may have.
  • Step 3 – You will be contacted by a staff member to schedule your baptism and video taping of your testimony. They will explain the logistics of check-in, reserved seating for your guests, and the order of events for your Baptism.
  • Step 4 – Film your story. One of the most powerful aspects of baptism is your video story shown right before your baptism. The video gives you the opportunity to share how you came to know Christ as your Savior and how He has been working in your life.  Our team will help you through every step of the process. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible.  Here are some recent examples of baptism testimonies:
  • Step 5 – Get baptized! Baptisms take place during one of the Sunday services and include a showing of your pre-recorded video prior to your baptism. Invite your family, friends and co-workers to join in the celebration of your baptism.

Baptism Registration Form

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you are ready to be baptized. Baptism is an act of obedience to Christ that follows an individual\’s acceptance of salvation by God\’s grace alone. Baptism isn\’t a prerequisite for salvation; however, if an inner commitment to trust Christ alone for salvation has been made, then the outward symbol of that commitment—Baptism—should follow, as is modeled throughout the New Testament in the lives of those choosing to follow Christ.

Once you submit this form, we will follow-up with you the next available baptism date and a schedule for recording your story.

If you want to learn more please take some time to watch Pastor Ken’s teaching on baptism and read ‘What We Believe’ posted on the Baptism page of Keystone’s website.

Baptism Decision

We encourage new believers, and believers that have not yet participated in adult Baptism, to take the opportunity to be baptized by immersion. We feel that Baptism by immersion paints the truest picture of “dying to sin and rising to Christ and new life.” We strongly encourage those choosing to be baptized to participate by immersion. We do recognize, however, that some individuals may request Baptism by sprinkling because of a strong personal preference, particularly those based on a compelling physical reason or disability. In these cases, we ask that a brief explanation is provided. Are you able to be fully immersed in your baptism?

Your Story

Baptism demonstrates that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and are willing to publicly identify yourself as a follower of Jesus Christ.

As part of the registration process, we ask that you write a few paragraphs describing how and when you decided to trust Christ alone for your salvation. It\’s helpful for you to recognize the work of the Holy Spirit drawing you to God and the difference Christ has made in your life.

Please describe your experience by including the following three elements in your story. Feel free to use the back of this form or attach a separate document to share this information:

▪ Briefly describe what your life was like before you decided to trust Christ.
▪ Briefly describe how and when you decided to trust Christ alone for your salvation.
▪ Briefly describe how this decision has made a difference in your life.
