Keystone Christmas At The Movies
Christmas music, Christmas movies and television shows are playing this time of year. It used to
wait until after Thanksgiving but NO MORE! Sure, our culture tends to get hung up in the
materialism of the holidays, but you can also find some Christian truths woven throughout some very popular “secular” holiday entertainment. This year we are going to use popular Christmas movies as a jumping off point to highlight the most important themes of the Christmas season. Not only will this be fun and unique, it will also be a great way to communicate the Gospel message of Christmas.

I Choose Thankful
Each year we celebrate Thanksgiving which is a great thing but what if we were habitually just a thanks giving type people? It is what God calls us to and equips us for. We have the opportunity but will we choose to be thankful?

Love Where You Live: For Our Neighbors
What does it look like to be FOR something? We all know what it looks like to be against something and if the church is known for something it certainly has a great track record of being an “AGAINST things” kind of organization. There certainly were things that Jesus was against when He was ministering on Earth 2,000 years ago but there were also a lot of things that Jesus was FOR. It was Jesus that said, “love your neighbors” and He lived it. So 2,000 years later, when there is plenty of stuff to be against, what and how can followers of Jesus be FOR our neighbors? Come and discover what we’re learning.

Marriage relationships can be incredibly fulfilling; they can also be incredibly challenging. When an imperfect man and an imperfect woman become husband and wife there are bound to be some challenges along the way. Great marriages take work and this series lays the foundation on which a strong and healthy marriage can be built.

A Point To The Process
Life is full of process. You need to crawl before you walk and walk before you run. We also don’t expect a kindergartener to be able to accomplish the same academic work as a senior in high school. Why? Because their is an education process they need to go through before they can do the work of an 18 year old. Is there a process when it comes to spiritual growth and development? We think so. Our Student Ministry Resident, Matthew Roberts shares a teaching that reminds us that there is A Point To The Process.

Why We Do These Two
For those of us who have been involved in church for any length of time we begin to get used to the things we do. The singing, the prayers, the rituals and the stuff that simply happens at church on Sunday. We can get used to the what of all that we do and forget why. We felt it was time to remind ourselves why we do two things in particular at church: Communion and Baptism.

David is one of history’s most famous kings. More important, he was a man after God’s own heart. What does one have to do with the other? This series looks at the life of David who is one the most referenced inidvidual in the Bible outside of Jesus. What does His life show us about ourselves and even God?

In Acts 1:8 Jesus gave not just a command but also a description of the people who would become His followers. He said that they would be His witnesses in all the world. What does it mean to be on mission every day, whenever, wherever?

When Jesus prayed, big things happened. When the early Christians we read about in the Bible prayed, big things would happen. These people didn’t simply repeat memorized prayers. They asked a big God for big things. Our hope is that we can all learn how to not only prayer dangerous prayers but that we would all become dangerous prayERS!

Who Needs God?
Americans are migrating away from religion at an unprecedented rate; Christianity in particular. But not because atheism is more appealing. People are leaving because religion has lost its appeal. Once upon a time Americans believed religion offered solutions. Today, religion is viewed by many as the problem. As people move away from Church, what are they moving toward? And do they really know what or Who they may be leaving behind? This series will seek to help answer the question: Who Needs God?

25 Years And Counting
We celebrated our 25 Years of ministry as a church on March 19th 2017. We exist to love and lead people in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We want to a church that people who have never or who hardly ever go to church absolutely love to attend. And we want to give everyone the opportunity connect meaningfully with God and with others. We not only celebrate the last 25 years but are also looking ahead to the next 25 years.

Who is the next generation? Depends on the generation you currently living in. The next generation is anyone who is coming behind you, anyone coming after you in a particular season. Anyone who is headed where you have been. What does winning look like? Our goal is not to simply give the next generation a standard OF living but rather a standard FOR living.

Sometimes it seems like the only way to keep up with all the demands on our lives is to run at maximum capacity—and then some. For many of us, being on overload is normal. But we were not created to be overloaded. There is another way…one where we have room to breathe and space to respond to what life brings our way. It’s called Margin. Margin is the space between load and limit. We need to learn how to create margin in our lives because life has a way of always pushing us to our limit.
New Year’s Day
A new year offers new opportunities, new beginnings, a fresh start. It also gives us an opportunity to look back at the past year and consider our joys and struggles. We all have things that we wish we would have done differently; regrets over bad decisions or poor choices. Even the Apostle Paul bemoans his inability to always make the right choice. But Paul also gives us a solution to living a life full of regrets, and the solution isn’t a better list of resolutions or a fresh dose of willpower. The solution is a person, Jesus, and learning to rely on his strength and not our own. Romans 7:15-25, Phil 3:13-14
