What to Expect in UpStreet

First Time Guests

The UpStreet registration area is on the left side of the building as you enter. Our UpStreet Host Team is ready to help guests get to the right place. They will ask you to complete a brief registration form and escort families to their child’s small group room. They will be happy to answer any questions about UpStreet and will explain where to pick up the kids at the end of the hour.

If you prefer, you can download our registration form and fill it out before you arrive.

Special Needs

We have a special ministry available at Keystone called One-2-One to help children with special needs. Read our Special Needs page for more information.

Sunday At A Glance

What happens in UpStreet? Kids are challenged every Sunday to trust God, make wise choices and build lasting friendships. Here’s what a typical morning looks like in UpStreet.

Welcome: Children are met by their small group leader in their classroom. The kids participate with their small group in an activity meant to introduce the bottom line message we want kids to walk away with and remember that day.

Large Group Environment: Shortly after arriving, kids are moved to the large group environment where they have their own time of worship and hear the Bible story told in an engaging, kid-friendly way.

Small Group Environment: After large group, kids move back into their small group area where their leaders help them understand how the day’s bottom line message can fit into their everyday lives.

Our curriculum builds on the idea that spiritual growth is relationally driven. When you put another trusted adult in the life of a child, in partnership with their parents, you provide an additional clear voice reinforcing core values. So, our strategy emphasizes small groups, making it easy to connect kids to mentors and leaders who can personally invest in them, while building lasting friendships with peers.
