Fresh, Current Music to Celebrate God

A philosopher once said, “Life without music, would be a mistake.” We would simply add “and Church without music, would be wrong.” Music and singing have been an integral part of the people of God since the very beginning. Music has the power to move us, to shape us and connects with us in deep and powerful ways.

But we don’t sing and play primarily for what we get out of it. We sing and play because we are celebrating our God, who is worthy of our praise. If we can sing and play for the praise of fame, money, our favorite shows and movies, or for a sports team, why wouldn’t we sing and play to praise the God who loves us, made us and makes it possible for us to connect with Him?

So at Keystone, we sing and we play and we do it in a style that is current and fresh. You might hear an organ, but it will be a jazz organ accompanied by drums, bass and guitars. You won’t be singing down into a hymnal or songbook, but will see the words on screens that lift your eyes up. And don’t worry if you don’t know the melody right away, we will sing songs often enough that you will quickly catch on and join in.

Here are a few songs we are singing right now
