Do Not Judge

"Do not judge" may be the most quoted Scripture verse ever. It's a verse that even non-Christians are happy to quote - and often do. It's become the mantra of our day. But what did Jesus really mean when he said not to judge? We have to make judgments everyday - it's just part of life. Are we not supposed to do that? Should we just let everybody do whatever they want? In Matthew 7:1-5 Jesus takes the idea of judgment and turns it on its head, and gives us a whole new way of thinking about judging and how we interact with the people around us.
